Guided Mountain Bike Adventures – Explore with an Expert

Wales & the wider UK have some epic places to come for mountain biking, but for some, exploring a location you are unfamiliar with can be a slightly daunting prospect. Most importantly, you have to know where the best bits are.

There are maps and guide books available to buy and there are some classic routes which see plenty of riders each year. However the real experience can be off the beaten track for that you need local knowledge.

You won’t need to guess where the best descents are, we’ll take you there.

The full list of the dates, including our regular weekly Wednesday Explorer rides & how to book a place can be seen via the links below:

BOOK A Ride

Are they the Rides for me? They definitely aren’t suitable for complete beginners, as a bench mark you should be comfortable riding off-road on bridleways & un-surfaced routes. We will go at the pace of the slowest rider & we will make you aware of any difficult sections during the ride, if you are not 100% happy there is always the option to walk down the more technical descents if required.

How fit do I need to be? The rides are normally 3-6 hours – with plenty of ups & downs, with some of the steeper more technical climbs requiring a push up. If you have any concerns about your ability or fitness, please get in touch.

Can I bring my E-Bike? The short answer is yes you can, we have several E-Bikers who take part in our rides on a regular basis. All we ask is to keep to the pace of the slowest rider & ride as part of the group rather than whizzing off on all the climbs!

Please ensure you are properly equipped for a mountain ride & read through the kit list below.
