Mountain Bike Navigation Events

MTB Nav Events or MBOs are suitable for all abilities and ages from 12 – 112, as you can competently ride a mountain bike off-road and  know the basics of reading an OS map you will have a great time. The map reading and route planning will challenge your mental resolve whilst the hills and valleys will undoubtedly test your physical fitness – be mindful however on these events that the fittest/fastest rider is not always the winner. They are run all over the UK but if you like to ride in South Wales, Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons), Black Mountains, Wye Valley & the Forest of Dean you have come to the right place.

Black Mountains MBO League 2024

The 2024 League will consist of 10 events, you can ride in as few or as many as you like, but to qualify for a prize you need to ride in at least 6 events & your best 7 scores will count towards your final league result. At the end of the season if any of the podium places are tied the rider with the most wins, then runner-up positions, etc will be placed above the other rider. Trophies will be awarded to the top 3  riders both male & female regardless of age, we will also award prizes for Best Age Category including EBike.
