Mountain Bike Navigation Events

MTB Nav Events or MBOs are suitable for all abilities and ages from 12 – 112, as you can competently ride a mountain bike off-road and  know the basics of reading an OS map you will have a great time. The map reading and route planning will challenge your mental resolve whilst the hills and valleys will undoubtedly test your physical fitness – be mindful however on these events that the fittest/fastest rider is not always the winner.

Entries can either be as a pair or solo, all events are normally held from village halls meaning that whatever the weather holds in store you can sit, enjoy a hot drink at the end and discuss your route choices with friends. Event timing is by electronic systems and you will be issued a full colour over-printed OS Waterproof map at the start.

Start times for the series are generally between 9.30 & 10.30am
